Puddy From Seinfeld – Devils #1 Fan

"Gotta support the team..."

Last night before the start of the Kings-Devils game, the legendary Seinfeld episode “The Facepainter” came on. The star of this episode is David Puddy (played by Patrick Warburton), Elaine’s on-again off-again boyfriend. A car salesman from Jersey, Puddy isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer but he is a huge Devils fan. When Puddy accompanies Jerry and friends to the Rangers-Devils playoff game, he naturally feels obliged to paint his face in Devils colors. This sets the stage for one of Seinfeld’s best scenes of all time…

That, my friends, is comedic genius in its finest form. The “You Stink Messier” chirp is particularly memorable. If you haven’t seen the episode, the Devils go on to win the game and Puddy is happy as can be. After the game he runs through the streets of New York yelling and scaring the daylights out of people with this face…

"THE DEVILS!"

Scary as that face may be, you can’t help but love Puddy. If you enjoyed his performance above be sure to watch the video below – David Puddy’s best moments from his tenure on Seinfeld.
